Marcelo Suro
Marcelo Suro is a Mexican artist who graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design. His work merges opposing concepts, exploring themes such as interaction, symbiosis, and transmutation. Marcelo’s practice blends the conceptual with the functional, offering a unique perspective on how everyday objects can embody philosophical ideas. His innovative designs have gained international recognition, with exhibitions in major design capitals including Milan, the Netherlands, New York, and Miami. His work challenges conventional design norms, celebrated for both its aesthetic appeal and intellectual depth. Marcelo’s pieces are part of prestigious contemporary art collections and institutions.
