Malitzin Cortés (CNDSD) + Ivan Abreu
The Mexican artists and technologists Malitzin Cortés (aka CNDSD) and Iván Abreu incorporate disciplines such as algorithmic music, sound art, data-driven art, live cinema, and architecture to explore experimental audiovisual production. Together, they coined the term Live Cinema Coding to investigate the potential of live coding as a narrative generator, utilizing the agility and fluidity of written language. Their joint research has led them to work on contemporary audiovisuality across multiple formats: concerts, video installations, web art, and virtual reality immersion. Additionally, they share and teach these processes worldwide.
