Jake Ziemann
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, is an artist based in Los Angeles, California. He earned his MFA from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco in 2012, his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008, and his BA from Central College in Pella, Iowa, in 2007. Ziemann has participated in artist residencies at Anderson Ranch Arts Center (2021), Vermont Studio Center (2012), and the New York Studio Program (2011). Ziemann’s work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across the United States, including at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art, Space Ten Gallery, Tiger Strikes Asteroid, and Carrie Secrist Gallery. His international presence includes Crosscurrent at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in 2019. His art has been collected, reviewed, and showcased both nationally and internationally
